The Challenge

A regional logistics provider was relying on manual data entry to read complex, varied supplier invoices, extract delivery addresses, and plan driver routes. This manual process resulted in high error rates, leading to misrouted cargo, delayed deliveries, and significant wasted fuel and time.

Our Solution

We built an intelligent document processing pipeline coupled with a dynamic routing engine.

  • Intelligent OCR: A custom OCR model trained to recognize and extract structured data (specifically delivery addresses and priority codes) from highly unstructured and varied invoice formats.
  • Address Normalization: Extracted addresses are cleaned and verified against a Maps API to ensure accuracy.
  • Route Optimization: Verified addresses are fed into an AI routing algorithm that calculates the most efficient delivery sequence based on traffic, vehicle capacity, and priority constraints.
